Periskop Partners Expands Portfolio Management and Investor Relations Team

Periskop Partners has strengthened its team with several new additions: Kamill Georg Wipyewski (45) has taken on the role of Head of Portfolio Management at the subsidiary Periskop Development GmbH (formerly DLE Land Development GmbH). At the same time, two newly created positions have expanded investor relations at the Periskop Partners level: Esther Heilmann (51) joins as Managing Director Client Advisory International, and Michael Klauke-Werner (55) as Managing Director Client Advisory DACH, both responsible for managing existing investors and acquiring new clients.

Kamill Georg Wipyewski most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Valuation & Advisory Germany at the global real estate consultancy Colliers for six years. In this role, he led numerous projects for prominent German and international investors, banks, and project developers. With 17 years of experience in German and international real estate markets, including 11 years in leadership positions, Wipyewski brings extensive expertise in real estate valuation, portfolio and value optimization, acquisitions and sales, and project development. Earlier in his career, he was Head of International Valuation at VR Wert (a subsidiary of DZ Hyp AG), where he oversaw valuations for a large international loan portfolio in Europe and the U.S. for five years.

Wipyewski is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Certified Alternative & Real Estate Investment Manager. He holds academic degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and the London School of Economics. Additionally, he is actively involved in various professional associations, including the ZIA Committee for Accounting and Valuation. Beyond his expertise in real estate and economics, Wipyewski brings profound knowledge of urban and regional planning to his new role.

Before joining Periskop Partners, Esther Heilmann spent three years as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets DACH at the real estate group SIGNA. Previously, she was part of the management team at CBRE Capital Advisors, leading equity placement, and served as Director Client Relations at Bouwfonds Investment Management, where she was responsible for capital raising. Earlier in her career, she worked in the Corporate Finance team at JLL. In her new position, Heilmann will leverage her extensive experience advising institutional investors in the real estate and financial sectors. Her previous roles also include positions in Debt Capital Markets and Fixed Income Institutional Sales at Goldman Sachs and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Heilmann holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of St. Gallen.

Michael Klauke-Werner previously served as Senior Managing Director/Sales Europe at W5 Group and worked in institutional sales at investment manager Primonial. Before that, he held leadership roles, including 13 years as Managing Director Central Europe at Nuveen, one of the world’s largest asset managers. Klauke-Werner is a qualified banking specialist and holds a Master of Real Estate from the European Business School. He has extensive expertise in institutional sales for real estate strategies and has been responsible for acquiring over €8.5 billion in equity from institutional investors in the real estate sector throughout his career. He also serves as a volunteer board member of bii – Bund institutioneller Investoren e.V.
