Periskop Partners Appoints Dr. Thomas Georg Wels as Senior Advisor

The investment advisor Periskop Partners (a trademark of DLE Group) announces the appointment of Thomas Georg Wels as Senior Advisor. Wels brings over 40 years of experience in the real estate, asset management, and financial industries, as well as in managing funds and investment trusts. He will support the Periskop Partners team in both strategic and operational areas.

Thomas Wels has an extensive background from an exceptional career in the real estate and asset management sectors. From 2020 to 2023, he served as Co-CEO of PATRIZIA, where he played a key role in advancing the company’s diversified platform business and expanding into new international markets.

Prior to his tenure at PATRIZIA, Wels held several leadership roles. He worked as a consultant and partner at McKinsey before joining UBS Asset Management in 2005. In 2007, he became a member of the UBS Executive Committee and later took on the roles of Head of Global Real Estate and Chief Operating Officer for UBS Asset Management. In 2019, he was appointed Deputy Chairman and Senior Advisor of the UBS Asset Management Division.

Alongside his advisory role at Periskop Partners, Wels continues to serve as Chairman and CEO of Pilcrowd AG.
